I found some more info regarding Responsive Web Design. Another important part of designing your layout to respond to different screen sizes is Fluid Grids. Both Dreamweaver and Photoshop have Fluid Grid layouts. There are some great free resources if you want to create your design in Photoshop you can get templates and additional info as well as tutorials from the following link: http://960.gs/.
Dreamweaver has Fluid Grid templates that are a great starting point and you can customize your columns and margins to your design specs. Fluid Grid Layouts in Dreamweaver helps you set up your design so that when you re-size the screen your layout changes to fit. The Fluid Grid feature does all the math for you as far as your columns and margins so that it re-sizes correctly. Dreamweaver has a cool feature at the bottom of the screen you can switch between Desktop, Tablet, and smart phone sizes with one click.
I am currently designing a site for a Landscape company and I am attempting the Responsive Design for this site so wish me luck. I will post more on how the process goes in a week or so.

Responsive Web Design
So how many times have you visited a web site from your phone and have to scroll sideways or "pinch and twist" the screen to view a section of the page? Too often I would say. Chances are that site is not a 'Responsive Site'. With the trend of more and more people surfing the web on Smartphones and Tablets,
there is a need for web pages to respond to different screen sizes.
What is Responsive Web Design? It is a combination of CSS and Media Queries that read the viewing screen size and calls the correct style sheet to format the pages to fit the device. This allows the user a more enjoyable visit to the web site and even formats to landscape views on tablets.
I think this is a great selling point as a web designer to add some extra value to your services by offering your clients this technology and this will most definitely bring in more revenue because I think Responsive Layouts are a must have if you want your viewers to have a seamless experience viewing your web site.
Some great resources for learning this technology are available through tutorials on Lynda.com and on Adobe.com.
